They are not universal. Be sure to look up the appropriate cartridges online before buying these. I’d also recommend that you take a look at remanufactured toner cartridges. they tend to be much cheaper than groundbreaking new replacements and work just as well in my experience.

No, toners are not universal. Not only different brands, but different models within a brand use different types of toner. They all perform differently under different conditions.
Now, I’m not one to tow the party line and tout the benefits of OEM toner at all times, but it really is vital to buy COMPATIBLE toners if you’re refilling cartridges. Reputable refill companies typically provide toner that is manufactured by the same sources as the OEM stuff.

Agreed. It isn’t a excellent thought to add / mix toner from any cartridges regardless of manufacturer, or product type.
