Which Is Better – Ink Or Laser All-in-one?
I am hunting to intend a newborn all-in-one. I poverty a organisation with limited features, which I crapper encounter on either inkjet or laser printers. I am worried most the ink pickup vs the laser toner costs. Also I’ve heard inkjets are meliorate for photos. Any advice learn there most costs and action comparisons?

It depends on the type of workload you have. Lasers are much more durable & cost efficient
If you only plot to print the occasional photo … just have it done at Walmart or a place like that.
When you consider the cost of ink & photo paper it really isn’t worth it to print your own pictures regularly. Most everyone today has a DVD player which can view photo CDs just fine.
Laser will save you money & prints text & graphics in much higher quality.
Color Laser all in one units are more expensive ($379 to $550) to buy … like this HP model :http://www.nextag.com/HP-LaserJet-CM1015…
But … they will perform better, last longer, & cost less to use.

ink is cheap but slow
Of course a LaserJet is better. The recurring cost is no doubt un-comparable but for a color laser, it may make a hole in your pocket for once!
Depends on how you use them.
In my business I use a samsong laser, (black only) am in the commerical printing business, and use laser to shoot a neg, to printing plate. So final product off printer must be black and white.
Toner cost is $99.00, yield is 3500 printed sheets.
HP ink jet color, cartage are $54.00 and are excellent for about 50 to 75 sheets, depending on coverage, and don’t use it that often.
Have checked into color laser printers, and toner is very expensive.
Depends on your usage. Is this going to be used for a business or personal use? Inkjets have an initial lower cost and better color output then laser printers do. Laser printers have better text quality and lower cost per page. With laser toners you can get as many as 8,000 pages per toner, around 130 per toner with inkjets if you print color,a s much as 500 in monochrome. If you keep the printer for three years, your inkjet will cost you up to 13 times the original cost of the printer when you factor in cost of toners. Ultimately, there are three main reasons to choose an ink jet over a laser: (1) You need color. (2) You need to print high-quality photos. (3) You expect to print so few pages that even with the extra cost per page, the total cost of owning an ink jet will be less than that of owning a laser printer. I hope this helps. FYI – the highest resolution color laser printer is 1200 x 1200 dpi and is made by Xerox, price tag starts at $6,000. Color laser printers do not approach the clarity of image that a laserjet can produce.
I reckon the all-in-ones are so much more beneficial for the money.
Go with laser…. trust me. Color laser printers print pictures a million times better than inkjet. The toner cartridges are more expensive to buy, but last a lot longer. You don’t have to worry about things like the ink drying out. So although you have a larger initial cost for the cartridges it is a lot less expensive in the long run.
I have a color laser printer and would never go back to ink. The quality of the printing is far superior to anything I ever had with ink and I have had this printer for about a year and am still on the same color cartridges, I have changed the black one once. We print a LOT in my house. Matter of fact my son place out his first CD since I have had this printer so he printed 100′s of marks, covers, and inserts in color….. And I still have toner.
Trust me, you will never regret going laser…
