This is a reconditioned toner cartridge as far as I can tell. I’m pretty sure it’s not some “NEW compatible generic brand” cartridge but I don’t care, it’s a toner cartridge and a pretty cheap one compared to a new HP.

So far it seems to print just like my original cartridge that came with my HP laserjet 1020, I don’t notice any difference, of course I have yet to see how many pages of printing I can get out of it.

If it keeps doing it’s job well and I get a honest amount of prints, I will order again.

These cartridges give fantastic print quality, and are simple to use. We were worried that by using refurbished cartridges, we may have problems. But those fears were unfounded. The print quality is fantastic; they last; and we’ve had no problems.

This is the first re-manufactured/refurbished toner cartridge that I have ever bought. I use this for work, so I do a lot of printing and the cost new HP cartridges were just getting out of hand. You know, the economy, yada, yada, so I thought I would take a chance on this. After all, with Amazon’s honestly generous return policy and the difference in cost, I thought “how terrible can this be?” Needless to say, I am very impressed. There is no discernible difference between this and the factory, although ultimately it may be too early to tell as I’ve only had this about a month and maybe 100 pages through it.

The only nit I have to pick is the shipping time. This doesn’t come from Amazon, so their third-party vendor could use a small push to get the lead out when it comes to a reasonable window. The original shipping estimate was a 3 week window, and that was about 5-6 days after the initial order. If you are using this for business, remember “just in time inventory” from business 101? This might make it a small more hard to keep your supply closet stocked.

excellent tech support – i had failed to remove the black paper from the cartridge and it jammed my printer. a tech clarified what had happened, and i was able to find the paper stuck in my printer. back in action in a matter of minutes..

Works just like the OE. The only thing “weird” was that the printer did not respond to the print “test page” the first time. I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it and after that it worked perfectly. Could be a Vista issue.
