I stopped buying toner and drum cartridges from Brother because their cartridges did not work well. Now, I always get LD Products brand toner and drum cartridge simply because they work better. I bought the TN580 Compatible Brother TN-580 Black Laser Toner Cartridge from 4inkjets/LD. It delivered within the expectation period. I installed into my Brother MFC-8660DN. (Flatbed Laser Multi-Function printer)
It is running fine. I could give it a five star. But I gave four stars instead. it just because I not sure how long the tuner will last.

This is the fourth toner cartridge I’ve place into my printer. The first one that came with the printer lasted about 800 pages. I replaced it with a Brother brand high-yield cartridge that ran out of ink after about the 5,200 pages. Replaced with another high-yield cartridge from Brother that ran out at after about 5,500 pages. Tired of paying a lot of money for every cartridge with sub-par ink longevity, I chose to try this discount version. It showed up with a mark from “LD Products.” It cost less than half of the OEM version. I am pleased to report that this cartridge has now printed about 6,600 pages and isn’t showing any signs of stopping yet. It prints clearly, doesn’t leak ink, and is well worth the money.

Bought 6 cartridges in December 2008, and just started using them. Opened one box, and found toner all over the inside of the sealed plastic. Cleaned it up, and inserted the cartridge into the drum, and used it. Toner would pour out from the cartridge onto the drum, and left permanent residues on the drum that transferred to each and every page run through the unit. The drum was just ruined. I opened 3 more cartridges, to find the toner just pouring out of these cartridges. The factory Depot claimed that it was past 30 days, and they were not responsible, even though they provide a 1 year warranty. I have to throw them all out. I can’t re-cycle these and stick some other customer with sub standard equipment.
