I have an HP laser jet III printer that has been brilliant. HP stopped making cartridges for it. Canon had a similar model, and for a while I was able to use Canon cartridges. Canon stopped making them, too, so I had to search for a substitute. This cartridge installed easily, just like the HP and Canon cartridges did, but it leaves random black lines on pages – not all, but often enough and unpredictable. Since the cartridge was hard to find, I bought 2. Huge mistake.
