I gave this 2 stars instead of one because eventually 500 pages later, the line going down every page I printed went away. The quality was never perfect, and I often had weird splotches. No, it wasn’t my groundbreaking new laser printer. It was the cartridge. The fact is, you’re taking a risk with the remanufactured toner cartridges. In my case it wasn’t anything more than an annoyance because I was in grad school, and most of the stuff I printed up was to workshop with my peers. But I couldn’t use it for anything professional. I have since bought a groundbreaking new toner cartridge, and it works perfectly. This is not to say that EVERY remanufactured toner cartridge will have performance issues, but mine did.
